1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Meta Brand Strategy Consulting Limited. By browsing this website, submitting a contact form, requesting a proposal or engaging the studio for consulting work, you confirm that you have read these terms and that you accept them.
If you are accepting on behalf of a company or another legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity, and references to you in these terms include that entity. If you do not have that authority, or if you do not accept these terms, please do not use the website or the services.
Where a signed statement of work, master services agreement or proposal acceptance conflicts with these terms, the signed document takes precedence for the engagement it covers. These terms continue to apply to everything not addressed in that document.
2. Definitions

3. Who We Are
The website and the Services are provided by Meta Brand Strategy Consulting Limited, an independent brand strategy practice operating from Rm A 7/F Max Share Ctr, 373 Kings Rd, North Point, Hong Kong - 999077, Hong Kong (HK). The Company can be reached at mailbox@metabrandstrategy.buzz and on +17312014340.
The Company presents its work under the studio name Meta Brand Strategy. That name is used for communication and presentation and does not create a separate legal entity. All contractual rights and obligations rest with the company named above.
The Company does not act as an agent for any third party unless a statement of work says otherwise in writing.
4. Eligibility
The website is intended for adults acting in a professional capacity. By using it you confirm that you are at least eighteen years old and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in the jurisdiction where you are located.
The Company may decline to provide Services where it cannot satisfy the legal, regulatory or ethical requirements that apply to a proposed engagement. Where a proposal is declined, any information already shared is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
5. Use of the Website
You may read, print and share the public pages of the website for your own professional use. You may not copy substantial parts of the site into another publication, present the content as your own or use it to train a commercial model without written permission.
You agree not to interfere with the operation of the website, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, not to distribute malicious code and not to use automated tools to scrape the site at a rate that affects availability. You agree not to impersonate another person when contacting the studio.
The Company may suspend access to the website for maintenance, security or any other reason. The site is provided on an as available basis, and the Company does not promise uninterrupted access.
6. Our Services
The Company provides brand strategy consulting. The service formats described on the website include positioning map sprints, naming storm desks, rollout playbook runs, identity audit windows, voice and tone clinics and refresh retainers. Each format is a starting point rather than a fixed product, and the exact scope is agreed in a statement of work.
The Company does not provide legal advice, trademark clearance opinions, financial advice or regulatory certification. Where a project touches those areas, the Client is responsible for obtaining its own professional advice.
Advice is given on the basis of the information available at the time. The Company may revise its recommendations when new information emerges, and it will explain the reason for any material change.
The visual and written material on this website is illustrative. It does not form a binding offer and it does not guarantee that a particular outcome can be achieved for a particular Client.
7. Proposals and Statements of Work
A proposal is valid for thirty days from the date it is issued unless it states a different period. An engagement begins only when the Client accepts the proposal and the Company confirms acceptance in writing.
Every statement of work should describe the scope, the deliverables, the schedule, the assumptions, the fees and the acceptance process. Anything not listed in the statement of work is outside the agreed scope. Additional work can be added by written agreement, with a revised fee and schedule where appropriate.
Changes requested after work has begun may affect the delivery date. The Company will flag the likely impact as soon as a change is requested, but it will not renegotiate silently.
8. Fees and Payment
Fees are stated in the proposal or statement of work and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Invoices are issued on the schedule agreed for the engagement and are payable within the period shown on the invoice.
Late payment may attract interest at a rate specified on the invoice, and the Company may suspend work where an undisputed invoice remains unpaid after a written reminder. Suspension does not remove the Client obligation to pay for work already performed.
Expenses such as travel, software licences or participant incentives are billed only when they are approved in advance, and they are supported by receipts where appropriate. Fees are non refundable once work has been delivered, except where these terms or the statement of work provide otherwise.
9. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide accurate information, timely access to the people who can make decisions and prompt feedback on drafts and deliverables. The quality of consulting advice depends heavily on the quality of the information supplied and the speed of the discussion around it.
The Client confirms that it has the right to share any material provided to the Company, including research transcripts, customer data and third party assets. The Client is responsible for obtaining any consents required for that sharing.
The Client decides how to implement the recommendations. The Company can advise and support the implementation, but the decision to act and the consequences of acting rest with the Client.
10. Intellectual Property
The Company retains ownership of its pre existing methods, frameworks, templates, teaching materials and internal tools. Nothing in these terms transfers those underlying rights to the Client.
Upon full payment, the Client receives a licence to use the Deliverables prepared for its engagement for its own business purposes. The licence is worldwide, perpetual and non transferable, and it does not permit the Client to resell the Deliverables as standalone products.
The Company may describe the engagement in general terms as part of its portfolio only where the Client has given written permission. Where permission is not given, the engagement remains confidential and is not named in any public material.
All content on the website, including text, layout, code and visual treatments, belongs to the Company or is used with permission. No part of the site may be reproduced commercially without consent.
11. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep the Confidential Information of the other party private and to use it only for the purpose of the engagement. Confidential Information includes business plans, customer data, financial information and any material marked as confidential.
The obligation does not extend to information that is already public, that was lawfully known before disclosure, that is independently developed without reference to the disclosure, or that must be disclosed by law. Where disclosure is required by law, the party required to disclose will give notice where it is permitted to do so.
Confidentiality obligations continue after an engagement ends. They end when the information genuinely becomes public through no fault of the receiving party.
12. Third Party Materials
Deliverables may reference or incorporate third party materials such as fonts, photographs, research sources or software. The Client is responsible for obtaining any licence needed to use those materials beyond the engagement, unless the statement of work expressly says otherwise.
The Company is not responsible for changes made by a third party to a platform, standard or asset that was relied on during the engagement. Where a change affects a deliverable, the Company will explain the impact and can quote for updating the work.
Links to third party websites are provided for convenience. The Company does not control the content of those sites and does not endorse their practices.
13. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Brand strategy involves judgement about markets, customers and future behaviour. The Company applies professional care and experience to every engagement, but it cannot guarantee a particular commercial result, a particular ranking, a particular volume of sales or a particular response from audiences.
Forecasts, estimates and models shared during an engagement are informed opinions rather than promises. They are based on assumptions that should be stated in the relevant deliverable, and the Client should test them against its own knowledge before relying on them.
The Company will tell the Client when it believes that an expectation is unrealistic, even when that message is unwelcome.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill or loss of anticipated savings, however caused and whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise.
The total liability of the Company arising out of or in connection with an engagement is limited to the fees paid by the Client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. Where a claim concerns the free use of the website, the Company liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a limitation is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
15. Indemnity
The Client agrees to indemnify the Company against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from material supplied by the Client that infringes the rights of a third party, from unlawful use of the Deliverables or from a breach of the Client responsibilities in these terms.
The Company agrees to indemnify the Client against claims that the original work created by the Company for the engagement infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, provided that the Client has used the work as authorised and has notified the Company promptly of the claim.
A party seeking indemnity must allow the other party to direct the defence and must cooperate reasonably in that defence.
16. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement for convenience by giving written notice in the period stated in the statement of work, or thirty days where no period is stated. The Client remains responsible for fees for work performed and for commitments made before termination.
Either party may terminate immediately where the other party commits a material breach that is not remedied within fourteen days of written notice, where the other party becomes insolvent or where continuing the engagement would require conduct that is unlawful or unethical.
On termination the Company will deliver work in progress, provide a short handover note and return or delete Confidential Information as instructed. Sections dealing with intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and governing law survive termination.
17. Privacy
Personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy published on this website. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected, why it is collected, how long it is kept and how rights can be exercised. It forms part of the overall relationship between you and the Company.
Where the Company processes personal data on behalf of a Client, the Client remains the controller of that data and the Company acts on documented instructions. The statement of work may add specific data protection terms for such processing.
You can request the Privacy Policy in an alternative format by writing to mailbox@metabrandstrategy.buzz.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong, except that the Company may seek relief in any jurisdiction where its intellectual property or Confidential Information needs protection.
Before starting formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve a dispute through good faith discussion between senior representatives for at least thirty days. This step does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief where delay would cause harm.
If a provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision is replaced by an enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original intention.
19. Changes to These Terms
The Company may update these terms to reflect changes in the services, the website or the law. The date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes are announced on this page and, where appropriate, communicated to active clients.
A statement of work is governed by the version of these terms in effect when it is signed, unless the signed document says otherwise. Continued use of the website after an update means that you accept the revised terms.
20. Contact
Questions about these terms should be sent to mailbox@metabrandstrategy.buzz, by telephone to +17312014340 or by post to Meta Brand Strategy Consulting Limited, Rm A 7/F Max Share Ctr, 373 Kings Rd, North Point, Hong Kong - 999077, Hong Kong (HK).
The Company aims to reply to contractual questions within five working days and will always confirm receipt of a formal notice in writing.
These Terms of Service should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is protected when you use this website or work with the studio.
